Daily Gratitude List - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Today I am grateful for friends and family....for meetings and this forum....for my therapist and for Michael....and expecially for my HP.

I am also grateful to my HP for helping me learn to express myself....otherwise I would be locked in silence

I'm grateful for my tears...for without them I couldn't appreciate joy...

I am grateful for hardship....for without it I wouldn't know compassion for others ...

and I am grateful for my heartache...for without it I wouldn't know how to love and let myself be loved...

Today I have many things to be grateful for....

I am thankful for my sister, Leslie. She knows I've been going through tough times....in more ways than one. She was kind and generous enough to fly me down to California to spend a week over Thanksgiviing. I got to see her, her husband and my parents who I hadn't seen in 6 years. I am grateful today for her love and friendship. This trip was really a gift!
