Grateful for my memory

I am SO grateful for being able to wake up in the morning not having to say "I'm sorry" for something that I don't remember doing or saying. It's great being able to remember a whole event, instead of bits and pieces or a fog of what my drunken interpretation might be. It's also so wonderful to be able to make new memories with my family as a sober person who is fun to be with, not always sullen and angry. I am grateful to God for allowing me this gift that has been brought to me...and am anxious to share it with others to let them know that although it's a hard road to travel, it's definately worth every minute...
