Just thought I would post a thread stating what I cant wait for. Being new to this website and new to trying my Hardest to recover from my addiction to alcohol, I CANT WAIT for... *Being tired enough to fall asleep at bedtime WITHOUT having to have a drink *Nice, soft hair in the shower, instead of straw... *Being able to get rid of my weight because I am not pouring 2,000 calories into me (NOT counting the fattening food I was binging on after 5-6 drinks) *The time to come that I cant remember when I stopped drinking all the time *Less teeth problems because I'm not constantly tearing them down with alcohol *NOT being so DARN tired everyday because of the lack of vitamins and the toll that the liquor was taking on my body *Good brain functioning instead of fuzzy brain *Being able to spend times with friends on the weekend WITHOUT having to drink (and hide it). ANyone else have thoughts about what they cant wait for? I'm trying to stay positive. |
