A slow (discontented) start to the day but a fine afternoon & evening. Visited an old friend on her birthday (75-ish: not quite sure but I know better than to ask a lady her age! ) - brought over a small cake, flowers (tiger-lily's), and a Fonzi birthday card! We laughed & played cribbage for a couple of hours.Went to the fitness centre and then to an AA meeting (Step 6 from the 12 x 12) - physical, mental, and spiritual growth all in a couple of hours! Grateful for a very good day!

I'm grateful that CarolD and the rest of the mods keep a watchful eye on the forums. Thanks for the new BG thread Carol!

Grateful I found the continuation of the BG I'm new at using forums and threads, but am determined to "get er done!" Grateful my hubby's cast was removed from his ankle, was a long month and a half with everything strained. I hope to God he doesn't break anything else in any part of his body, sigh

I'll miss my kids while they're away on vacation with my ex, but I'm grateful for the life they're experiencing.

Bit of a frustrating day (tired, kids bratty) but there was some good stuff - ice cream with the kids, bike ride, football game on TV... Oh well...regardless how the day goes I am always grateful to be alive & sober.

Grateful for the beautiful weather we've been having, it feels like we're in Hawa'ii, that's pretty awesome Hubby is still feeling pain in his ankle so if you do pray, please pray for his ankle. It's been such a long time with his cast on, he is fed up with it. Grateful he still has his foot, being he has diabetes type 1 , we need some good news |

Grateful that the weekend is almost here. I've got lots of fun projects to work on, and can't wait for some quality time with my fiancee.

Grateful for having been able to go out for spaghetti tonight at the tiny little restaurant in town, with the high school kid playing guitar in the corner, with the purple candle flickering on the table. Grateful for a walk in the evening air, and an ice cream cone, and some time to just sit outside and think about how, at one time in my life, this wasn't enough to make me happy. So grateful.
