Grateful i was woken up by a phone call from a long lost friend. Grateful i was able to be open and honest about my current life. Grateful that she is in the process of recovery & making progress.

Wow, what a lightning storm last night! Scary but awesome at the same time. That's one heck of a Power out there!  I had an incredible day yesterday...so much to be grateful for. Fishing on the lake...just me, my boat, rod, & nature. Swimming with the kids...chasing them around, splashing each other. Speaker meeting last night...listening to a friend's story...the anguish, recovery, and grace. And today is another day...I don't know what's in store but I'm sure it will be just fine.

Grateful that I made it thru another day sober, and managed to get some chores done that I'd been neglecting. Grateful it's almost bedtime with my doggies.

Grateful to feel my feelings & not act out on them. Grateful to hear painful news and not react to it. Grateful to have an awareness of the disease. Grateful that i didn't use over any of this! Grateful to be moving forward today!
