DAy 6 - Grateful

I'm grateful to be sober for the sixth day. Almost one week...

I'm grateful to have seen some old friends at tonight's meeting. Always makes me feel good to see friendly, familiar faces. And I'm grateful for their sobriety, too.

I'm grateful that I am in a relationship where my partner values my sobriety as well as his own, and is there for me when I need support.

I'm grateful that I've found a sponsor who is willing to help me.

I'm grateful that I still have a roof over my head, despite many financial struggles this past year.

I'm grateful for the fact that I had a calm day today, no panic attacks in the past 24 hours.

I'm grateful that my car runs (keeping my fingers crossed), and that I can get myself and other alcoholics to meetings when they need help with transportation.

I'm grateful for having an amazing doctor/therapist who supports me, cares about my well-being, and is willing to kick my *** when I need it.

I'm grateful for other recovering alcoholics who are willing and able to help me.
