| I'm grateful for the fact that I made it.

It is an accomplishment to be proud of, isn't it. Keep moving along and the days will really add up. BTW - Welcome to SR. I notice this was your first post. Why not step into the Newcomer's forum and introduce yourself if you will? We can then properly welcome you. Glad you joined.

Good job for you! I had my first sober christmas this year and last year I spent the entire day drunk and had a hangover when my boyfriend woke me up the next morning and completely surprised me with a trip to Disney World. Then I spent new year's day throwing up as we flew home. I even threw up in my boyfriend's friend's car! I feel great and I have nothing to be ashamed of. Not having to worry about getting enough alcohol is such a load off!! |
