I got a job!

I am so grateful to have sobriety! I have been in Arizona only 5 days and I have been hired at the Riverside Hotel/Casino doing housekeeping. I could never have done this being on drugs so whoever is having trouble staying sober, please remember that good things will come to you!

I was very proud of the fact that I could take my drug test (which included a chunk of hair being cut from my head...) and know that I was going to pass it. I was a bit worried about how far back the hair test would show, but I told the person at the toxicology place that I was in recovery with 6 months clean and he said it went back 3 months. When I was leaving, he congratulated me on my 6 months and told me he had 21 years of sobriety!

That is fantastic!!! I, too, have met a lot of people in recovery at work.

Hugs and prayers!
