| Grateful that I relapsed?  well they say that you have to be grateful for everything but I am not too dang sure about giving up almost 26 months of clean time for 20 minutes. |

| today I am grateful to be going out of town to visit a relative with my mom and aunt and daughter  It will be like a girls day I am grateful that I want to get myself organized, on track and feeling better again. I am grateful that my body and soul (thus far) takes the crap I put it through and can still function and want to give again. Pretty resilient we are... Grateful to pay attention that I am grateful. Have a wonderful Monday everyone! |

| ((((Chance)))) I'm grateful for my relapse(s) too. I learn from them, pick myself up (with a little help from my friends here at SR), dust myself off and try harder. Grateful for another day to be clean and sober. Lots of love to all of you. |

(I’m one of those apparently rare folks that actually enjoys it )Faith, I am grateful that you are here too  !Chance, 26 months clean + 20 minutes using + getting right back up again is pretty darn good in my books. Restlessmama, sounds like a fun day! ROFL, another day sober…always grateful for that. Lbad, me too! Grateful for a beautiful sunny Monday morning after a weekend of stormy weather. Wasn't too long ago I would have been thinking "well that figures...only gets nice out when I have to work...grumble, grumble..." Even the weather used to be all about me ! |

| I am grateful to have found this site, I discovered it three days ago and already the post have helped me "center" myself and has provided voices of sanity. I am grateful to find a buyer for hubby's car. A one person doesn't need 3 vehicles. I am grateful for my loving daughter, friends and three dogs (which provide company at night when I am here alone). And you have to be grateful for all things??? Okay, if that is so... Then i am grateful my husband is an alcoholic. I am grateful he is in jail. I am grateful he broke his promise not to drink anymore Finally, I am grateful that God is providing me the strength and endurance to perservere during this trying time. Karen |

| ((karen)) Remember that sometimes the most seemingly tragic events can be the best things that ever happen to us..... I am grateful to the vice detective who absolutely was the catalyst for me saving my life.... I used to hate him.. I mean it too. He was always taking me to jail or hassling me about what I was doing, who I was doing it with, where were the kids, etc etc etc .... I was filled with rage... lol 7 years later he is my buddy. We got out and have coffee..  |

| Grateful that even though my serenity prayer necklace broke while running only the chain was lost.. I came home to find the pendent in my shoe.... ((deep sigh)) I love it a lot cause my old sober Dad gave it to me..... |
