| I am thankful for these forums
I am thankful... for an anonymous place where I can begin my recovery from codependency for a place where in depth step study questions are provided for a place where there are so many resources for the faith I have that somehow all of this will do something. for the realizations about the way I act for the realization that I do have choices, even if I'm not ready to start making those choices yet for the fact that I don't have to do this alone for the fact that it's okay to be fallible, okay to not have so many expectations of others or of myself, okay to stop trying so hard, okay to breathe, okay that if I stop worrying so much -it doesn't mean I love you an less (maybe it means I love you more- in the fact that I am giving you the freedom to be whoever you are, to have your own opinions, to have your own ideas) for the free time I have to dedicate to recovery And thank you for listening =) |
