May I first say I am SO grateful for this Gratitude sub-forum! Several times I have come here in a miserable or self-pitying or irritated mood and had my spirits revived with gratitude and joy. Just hearing about some of the things people are grateful for makes me so happy. So... Tonight I am grateful for this forum. I am grateful for another SOBER day! I am grateful that God heard my prayers today. I am grateful that I got to spend some time with my niece and sister today. I am grateful for being able to sleep at night like I used to many years ago! I am grateful for the women in the AA program that I am slowly getting to know. I am grateful that God has opened my mind, heart and eyes to so many things this week.

Grateful that my days have fallen into a routine...a healthy way of spending time working, playing, being a mother to my children and wife to my husband. I am fixin to make a low carb snack for myself. Tomorrow is day 60 and I've decided I don't need to indulge with ice cream or cake...I can celebrate within the boundaries of my controlled carb lifestyle. There is growth there and for that I am grateful. I am grateful that I have time this afternoon to read the gratitude posts because I enjoy them immensely. Liberty~ oops wrong thread! But then, it must be bedtime somewhere! LOL!

Grateful for 9 days with my children, my brother and sister-in-law, niece and nephew. Beautiful weather in Georgia, getting to meet CarolD at an AA meeting. Nice meals, great conversation, and quality time spent together. I feel like I got a sunburn from so much time spent in the Sunlight Of The Spirit! What a great feeling, so many blessings. What a great life God has given me. Thank you all for being here.

So grateful for: My wedding anniversary yesterday. Love that girl! My little boy singing happy birthday to the cat this morning. I was outside and could hear him through an open window. So sincere. Beautiful. Telling my good friend who is struggling with alcohol that I very rarely miss drinking. He just can't fathom it. Maybe I gave him some hope? The very fact that I rarely miss drinking is pretty amazing in itself! Went for a boat ride with my sponsor, helping him let go of the past. Cloudy skies but the sun broke through at the perfect time. Amazing how that happens. faith, I hope you enjoy Duma Key. I have read every Stephen King novel and it is one of his best. Congratulations everyone on moving forward another day. Thanx for helping me stay sober.
