| Actually I am grateful that my mood changes alot...for me that means I don't have to worry that the bad feelings will last forever...they never do and I don't get false expectation that the good ones will last forever and get disappointed. grateful that I am sober and have so much support grateful that I am becoming more assertive, honest and clear without being mean hurtful or self sabataching! grateful for dogs, sons, moms and dads. for friends, coworkers, and oh yeah did I say dogs!!!! |

| I am grateful that I have my aunt who cares about me close by where i am living and she takes me out to lunch once a week at nice places to cheer me up. I am grateful that I am on speaking terms with my son. I am grateful that my friend is happily pregnant! I am grateful that I am sober 42 days! I am grateful for my boyfriend who is being very supportive of my recovery and very sensitive to my needs. I am grateful to be alive and healthy. |

| Grateful, oh so grateful, that the brief power outage I just had did not zap my computer. I thought it was fried as I tried a few times to start it but ended up with a black screen. Fortunately it "came back to life". I don't relish the thought of having to deal with real life without my wonderful cyber life. Thank you God for sparing me lonely days and nights!  I hope this brief stubborness does not lead to future problems. I can't afford another computer right now. |

| Today I had to look honestly at the direction my spiritual path tells me I need to go in a particular situation in my life. Been vaguly aware that a dificult choice might be facing me....sorta hoping it wouldn't really become necessary. And perhaps it wont. But because i have been blessed with the willingness to help others today, I spoke with a woman facing the very same situtaion that I am afraid of. I told her the truth of what I would need to do in that situation.....and realized that I know what I have to do and that I will do it if the situation arises. I am grateful for how sobriety has changed me to where at some level I recognize what values are and am willing to live by my honest beleifs. Sometimes my beliefs are wrong, but I learn what I believe by living by what I think I believe. I think it is called integrity. I am grateful that I have some integrity in my life today. |
