| ![]() ![]() I am new here...the first time I read this forum is when I was in withdrawal...it wasn't easy because I was so uncomfortable. I never knew so many others felt the same way. I am grateful I am no longer out in the street I am grateful that I have food to eat. I am grateful that I have my own apt...and car!!!!! I am grateful that I no longer live in fear of being assaulted everyday... The list is truly endless...now I just have to figure out who I am...I struggle with my identity...seems I've lost it...and no longer know what to do...how to dress, what my "style" is...the "type" of person I am. I count on it coming...slowly but surely. So many miracles have happened already. Thanks for reading my humble post.... |

betrue2yourself: I am also "New and Grateful." My list could take all night to write. I will just jot down a few items: - I'm grateful to be clean after an eight-year relapse! - I'm grateful the Universe has taken care of all my needs: health, home, car, finances. - I'm grateful for spirituality and its principles that make it possible to stay clean |
