Today I am grateful for SO many things. Seemingly small and insignificant things. The biggest thing I am grateful for today is my parents. They came to my rescue this weekend when I was stuck in a lonely, sad place. I called my Mom crying and she & my step-dad dropped everything and drove two hours to spend time with me. I never thought they would support me the way they are but they surprised me, as many have in the short time I've been in recovery. I am grateful for Mom and I am grateful for Mike. They are amazing, loving and supporting parents. I am so blessed! |

Yes, you are very blessed to have such supportive parents. Are you involved in any other support groups, such as AA or NA? They can be a tremedous support when you need them. Also, coming here and reading can be invaluable.
