I am grateful to live in a nice city with fun friends. I am grateful to have a good job that I enjoy and that pays a living wage. I am grateful that my parents are alive and healthy. I am grateful for my own health. Even though I have been sick lately, it is just a temporary thing. I am grateful to wake up each morning.

I am grateful for this forum, which has helped support me through my first two weeks of sobriety. I am grateful that I was born. I am grateful that others helped me to stop drinking. I am grateful to have things to do this weekend. I am grateful for my housemate's cat, who I didn't like at first, but who now keeps me company.

I am grateful. Thank you.
