my morning workouts

I am greatful for being able to wake up each morning, not drunk, not hungover, not full of fear and resentment towards myself.. Instead, I get dressed, hit the gym for my morning workout at 6am !! Great way to start the day !!

Hitting the gym at 6AM is a wonderful way to start the day.
You get it outta the way, you start the day with energy,
and you can only do it if you are not hung-over.
Very impressive!

Hey TorontoGuy,
I'm greatful for your post. I've gotta start working out in the morning, too. Your post inspires me! Question: Do you lift in the morning and if so do you eat before you lift? How much?
Mike

Mike - sorry for the delay...

I only do cardio in the mornings on an empty stomach. This way my body utilizes fat for energy and I'm trying to get really cut/lean...

My weights are done in the afternoons, usually one day on, one day off.. I just do not like doing weights after I do cardio since I don't get the same level of intensity..

Let me know if you have anymore questions... 2 years ago I went from about 270 lbs to 220 lbs with abs ! It took me about 3-4 months, but I did a lot of research to make sure my training and diet were optimal.
