| I am grateful for....
the courage to face the things that I need to change and the person that has given me hope that even though I've done awful things, the real me is still here and I just need to get better. I am also grateful for all of you and all of the support that you give just by simply acknowledging others who are going through what you are/have been going through and I hope that I can return the favor.

Gracy, It is kelsh again. I do have to tell you that the Serenity Prayer was the first very important tool for me to get through the days. I had been a constant worrier even when I knew there wasn't anything I could do to help the situation. When I truly understood what this prayer meant....that I needed the Serenity to accept the things I couldn't change, and the Courage to change the things I could, and the Wisdom to know the difference....my life was a lot better on a daily basis. I used to buy those cards...about the size of a refrigerator magnent...with the Serenity Prayer on them and keep some in my purse to handout to new comers. I even would give my own away sometimes. Then I would be back to the book store to buy more. So good to have you as a part of Sober Recovery.
