grateful to you all

This is my first thread and i hope i do it right and if i dont please help me out. I just want to tell you all how grateful i am that i stumbled into this site. my sobriety date is Aug 7, 2004, been attending meetings and found recovery in AA. I have shared only a handful of times and have never been a speaker. i just cant make myself speak in front of people (recently i was asked to be the graduating speaker at my college, turned that down!!! what an opportunity!!!). my sponson tells my that i can help give others hope but still i run from speaking or shaaring. this is why i am so grateful and excited that i found you. hopefully by sharing here i will get over my fears. again THANK YOU!!
