| I am grateful
I am grateful for the support of the wonderful people that I have met here at SR. I have not known caring and support like this in my life. I have learned about the power of prayer and how, reaching out to another person, is met with love and caring and concern.

Today the sky was blue and the sun was shining. Maybe spring is coming and I am grateful for that.

I am grateful for the first warm, sunshiney, blue-sky day we've had this year. I had a sundae and people-watched, sitting in the sunshine.

I started this thread a few days ago because I had been going through a period of seeing the negative and the dark. I needed to do something to get myself going in the right direction, so I have made the intention to write here every day. It's just going to be 'me' stuff, but any and all comments are always welcome! Today I had a miserable day at work and I am so grateful to have been able to go to a good movie this evening. For a few hours, I was caught up in the movie and my work problems now seem distant.

Hi Anna,,,Love you.... Im of to work in a few and its only ,,,,oh noooo what have i done....lol im just looking at my clock and its only 2am....NOOOOOO...lol I thought i set my alarm to get up at 2 to go to work at 5,,,, Now im realizing i got up at 1am...lol NO WAY.... I have a long day ahead of me....and its only 2am . Ive already showerd, dressed,,,had my cup of coffee lol....and its only 2am...lol oh my goodness....what have i done to myself...lol Do u know how tired i will be when i get off work today at 3...lol DOG TIRED....lol And believe me......im not drinking over this....lol Anna....hang in there...it cant be any crazier than my life...lol

I am grateful today to know that I don't have to feel like I am happy all the time that wouldn't be reality. The reality for me is to know that there will be days that I am up and days that I am down, it is how I act on those days for our actions speak louder than our words. Grateful that the sun shine is out again today

I am grateful for the city that I live in. People from all over the world have come to this city and made it their home. When I walk downtown, I can see beautiful faces from everywhere - multi-cultural, multi-ethnic - I love it.

I am grateful to be here able to say .............. "I am grateful". Anna: I watched a movie yesterday.....took my mind off everything too. Intellectual? No. Fantasy? Yeah. Harry Potter. Wonderful movie. I saw it before drunk and am grateful to see things with new sober eyes....so much catching up to do on things I missed along the way... Grateful for a 7th chance.... Love,  Sherry

I am so grateful to have time to myself today, peaceful, quiet, 'me' time. It's just me and a beautiful view of the city from my balcony and a view of the mountain from my living room. And, of course, Kona is here!

I am grateful that I am alone today and it's nearly midday and I haven't had a panic attack because God is with me. I am grateful that I will get to go to a meeting again tonight and be surrounded by people who understand me.

Sorry one more thing. It is ANZAC day here in New Zealand and in Australia. Usually I go to the dawn service but I didn't go this year. I am looking after my health and I needed to sleep. Instead, I am here to say how grateful I am to the men and women in the New Zealand services who fought and died for our country. At the going down of the sun and in the morning...we will remember them. We will remember them. Did I get that right Kev?
