Very Difficult

So the twelve step is giving your life to the higher power, but how are us gays supposed to recover while were being harassed and judged, we aren't any different than a non gay, down deep in my heart I dont believe the lord sends us to hell. God loves everyone equal no matter, he didn't die just for the non gays, he died on the cross for everyone. When my time comes the only person that gets to choose is God, so until than I will ignore everyone's judgements, but still love my God more than anything and will continue to be and do what makes me happy.

Dez- even though there are obvious stressor here, remember alcohol- drinking is a separate issue to life's other challenges. Whether it be the way we see others treating us, an unfair work situation- whatever. Try to focus on what you CAN control. Do you have a rainbow meeting you can go to? I will leave judgement to those more capable of doing it- I do not have the skill to do that. A strong commitment to sobriety needs to be worked- with a solid support foundation. The lord looks after those who look after themselves.

Of course the Lord died for you!

You would not be capable of knowing him and loving him unless you belonged to him. The reason we are able to believe is because he has specifically called us.

I don't have all the answers in the world.

I do know that when the Pharisees caught the woman in adultery and threw her in front of Jesus, he bent down, drew on the ground, and said, "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."

The Pharisees all wandered away, and in the end it was just the woman before her Lord.

When it comes to our sin or righteousness, it is only the gentle and merciful Lord we have to answer to.

As was prophesied of him in the book of Isaiah:

"Here is my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen one, in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will bring justice to the nations.

He will not shout or cry out,
or raise his voice in the streets.
A bruised reed he will not break,
And a smoldering wick he will not snuff out."

The love of Christ to you, Deziraye!
I'll take your part when darkness comes.
