| Now with fewer opiates! | I just had to say it...
So, on the lighter side of things, I was sitting in outpatient group, where I go to help out my former counselor from time to time. The guy next to me, bemoaning how hard it is to call another guy for support (such as a sponsor), said: "I just can't call a guy. There couldn't be anything gayer!" To which I responded: "Oh, trust me...there could" and winked. The group roared, the guy was silenced and group continued.

EDIT, I forgot I already had a thread in here. I was gonna hijack this one with a whole different topic, but i'll just add it to my thread. BTW, I would like to hear details of what's gayer, but I doubt they'll let it ride on here. PM me lol.

| ![]() That's great! ...and Wednesday I had this very recently sober, very butch young woman come into a meeting, and, boy, was she p*ssed! I asked her what was up, because I know she's been going to a lot of meetings, and doing really well, and I've never seen her so agitated. Well, turns out some pr*ck idiot guy had tried to 13th Step her in a meeting earlier that day. The conversation apparently had gone like this: Him: "So, I hear you're one of "the girls." Her: "Uh...what??????" Him: "You know........a l-e-s-b-i-a-n!" Her: "So what?........How could that possibly be any of your business?" Him: "That's just too bad cuz you're pretty cute. I bet, if you slept with me, you'd never go back to girls." Her: "Ya know what's even 'badder'? If I slept with you, you'd never go back to girls either!"....and she walks away. I thought she handled it perfectly!!!!!! freya
