Moving 4ward I Hope - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Well guys and gals, Here I am almost 2 years sober and clean, OMG.. its taken 3 years to get here, going to jail, loosing my home and everything i owned, and finally winding up in jail only to get beat up buy 3 guys after a 2 day black out while in there, then delivered to treatment buy the cops handcuffed with only the clothes on my back..

Today im working at the the same job for the last 2 years, and recently promoted to asst manager, living with 2 great guys in recovery, and driving a van thats paid for. attending my regular meetings and still working on my steps. next week ill start school to get my certified dietary managers license, paid for buy the nursing home i work for.. can u believe it they respect me enough to put me through school.

all that said, I have along way to go. and many personal issues still showing up along the way, as i progress throgh the steps. but i want to live today and i have hope today, and i havent thoght of a drink or a drug in i cant remember when. one day at a time,, i hope if any new members to recovery read this it offers some sort of hope,
