Ahh dear Nina. im a huge fan I think Lilac wine, Sinnerman are good, also I'm gonna leave you I love nina simone Gold. great collection. omg omg too many to mention....!!! I ain't go no, I got life is a personal fav!

Well, I listened to the link last week, and she definitely has a great voice......but my personal tastes tend to run more toward rock-n-roll...I did run it by my son whom we went down to NYC to pick up this weekend, and he said: "Oh, Nina Simone.......Nina is fierce!" Then, in his best mock diva voice: " 'This next song is a showtune....the show for it just hasn't been written yet....Mississippi....Mississippi Goddamn.' Yeah, Nina!" freya
