Recovery looks different for every addict and every family of an addict. you will know it when you see it. There are times I look at my son and realize that the old him would never have said/done that and I think wow that's recovery in process. Just understand that it is a VERY slow process but one day you will realize that things are getting better. My moto has become " I'm not where I want to be but thank God I'm not where I was" and neither is he. Good luck and prayers.
