What does scale mean in drug terms? Thanks

A device used to measure precise quantities of drugs.

For example:

John weighed out an eight-ball of cocaine on his digital scale before he sold it to Sarah.

That would be the most obvious. But, it depends on how the term was used.
Scale has several other meanings in drug world.

I know what a measuring scale is. I was accidentally sent a text saying "u gonna have sum of that scale on u". I'm not sure what it means in this context.

Jeez Louise. I have no clue when it comes to any of the terminology. I learn something new here every day!

I second that! I grew up in the 70s with a whole different vocabulary of words and what they mean. I do appreciate "knowledge" that this generation uses. When they talk, I might just know what they are talking about. Lets keep this mom not so old fashioned!!

Is there other updated terminology? I guess we should just watch NatGeo? I'm in my 30's and I don't know any of this stuff.

Google it and I think the Urban dictionary should let you know if there is a drug reference to the word.
