Hello Friends,
I am still hoping to give hope to all out there and let you are not alone. Tomorrow my son turns 30. A day we never thought we would see. He is strong independent, healthy, working and Clean and very proud of it.
I think of this forum and how it helped me get through some very trying times, I never forget. Care be with you and your loved ones.

Thanks to everyone sharing these stories of recovery! Hope to do the same someday. Its a fine line we walk...between detaching and trying to be realistic, feeling powerless and defeated, wanting to have hope yet not wanting to set ourselves up for disappointment at yet another relapse. Does my heart good to hear wonderful news like this. Thanks again and I will pray for continued victory against this dreaded beast of addiction that brings us all together on this forum. Blessings to all!
Of all the words I have read and written about this horror story
called addiction------by far the best are......
"....it is no more."
(Never, EVER doubt the resilience, agility, or tenacity.... of the human soul.....
for if you do, you will nearly always be committing a very grave error)
