Hair testing for meth
 

Can anyone -- someone tell me how a hair sample can come back negative for meth when you know the person has used within the last 60 days?

My question would be why the testing if you know he used?

No idea... I googled it, and I couldn't find anything....

Addicts are oh-so-clever ,if there's a test, there's a way to beat it! I know what someone looks like when they are using and thats the only test I now use-my own 2 eyes

It wasn't their hair?

Either way, let their behavior speak for itself. With or without the "proof" of the drug, is their behavior unacceptable?

Unfortunately meth only stays in the system for a very short time. A few days from what I've been told. It's not like marijuana which clings to body fat.

A friend of my xhusbands had his wife tested...she called me and told me she ordered something on net and was able to beat the hair follicle test. We all know for a fact she was using, she beat the test. She was able to keep custody of her four girls. If she had failed test, he would have got custody.

There are expensive shampoos that you can buy that will strip the hair follicles of drugs. My next question is why do I know this? :) I agree with the others. An addict can beat it in most cases.

I used to give my ex spouse the meth addict urine tests which tested for everything and my ex always passed them. .these addicts have their little sneaky ways!!
