I don't watching it. I think I am still too much of a codie. Just kills me when I see them actually using the drug. I want to yell- STOP!! Sometimes I wonder- what if that person suddenly had a heart attack due to it- as they are standing their filming it? I also can't imagine.. how I would feel. If I was the family member of one of the other addicts there, using and not being offered the same support and opportunity for recovery.
Actually the show really confuses me. I can't imagine the ex- EVER agreeing to being filmed. Nor the people who own the homes or he uses with.
But then he never got into recovery- so maybe right there.. there is a willingness. Now corney me.. I would like them to close with asking those who watched to say a prayer for those suffering with this disease and their families..

Okay- Intervention just wasn't my thing.. True confessions?? No kidding I actually tried to hire Dog the bounty hunter... to travel to another continent and try to talk some sense into the ex!!! No- nothing to do with jail or bonds or anything!! I just thought he had the magic touch!!

I do watch it as it is one of my favorite shows. I see myself in many of the addicts. How drugs had such a powerful pull on me still seems unreal. It serves as a clear reminder to just how powerful a psychoactive substance can be.

I cant watch it anymore. I cant take the using scenes. Which makes up most of the show. I have relpased from watching that show.
Last thing I need or want to see is someone doing drugs.

STBXAH and I used to watch it together. I always felt so bad for the addict and the families involved. I just couldn't imagine going through the things they were going through.

The irony was my AH was using and we were going through the exact same thing. I just couldn't see it at the time.

I can't watch it now.

I have no desire to see this this show.
I have actually changed the channel when a commercial comes on advertising an upcoming show.

This is just too painful for me to watch.

Now, give me a dead body on CSI...... and I am all over it!

I have watched it before, but it got to be a bit much when they showed the homeless guy actually injecting the heroin into his body, since my sister's doc is heroin. My mom thought about contacting them about my sister once, and sometimes I wish she had... but then again, who knows whether or not ras would have agreed to it at the time? Se la vie...
