Acronyms, Acronyms, Please help!

Okay, I am very new to this forum. I have received more support in 2 days here than I have anywhere since this all started for me (found out that son was addicted to tramadol with a very serious suicide attempt on Aug 13 2007). Just recently accepted the fact that this is happening to me too. However, I get lost sometimes with the acronyms. Does anyone have any suggestions or a short list of acronyms with meanings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for all the love and support that I feel here!!

The "sticky" called "What It All Means" has a list of some of the common abbreviations used here.

I just went and checked out the "sticky" (first time I looked at it)
it is really a comprehensive list of information...excellent resource

but my favorite abbreviations were missing:

RAS recovering addicted son
RAD recovering addicted daughter

best wishes to you and your son and welcome to SR (Sober Recovery)
