Room for a little one?

I'm coming to visit!!!

What a day it's been today. I started off in such a funk (just ask Judy or Jazz!), which has been the culmination of months of funkettes. Fed up of doing things on my own, fed up of finding it so hard to walk the walk, fed up of not knowing if I'll need to keep my savings to live on, fed up of not being able to make plans. But that's for another thread.

Well, I got a phone call this evening from my Dad to say that I am going to get some money from the estate of my late great-aunt! So, instead of waiting for all eternity to get some cash out of R, I can start planning my trip of a lifetime. I can't wait to meet some of my dearest friends after all this time.

Anyone able to put me up for a few nights?

Yes, Christie, for real. I am so excited!!

And Jazz - I have you pencilled in for more than lunch. I have to at least see the effort you have put in on your house. And yes, this news couldn't have come at a better time.

I need to get my itinery sorted - why on earth do Minx and Cynay have to live so far away?

Minx - a trip to the Canyon sounds great!!

And it's not that it's a big country per se - it's that the places I want to go and the people I want to see are so far apart!!

It's late here now - I'll be in touch tomorrow when I've stopped running about the house in excitement and had some sleep.

Yo minnie, the Vegas recovery crew just can't wait for you to drop by. And bring that charming accent along, us Western types get wobbly kneed at the sound of it

Yep and on your way to Arizona and Nevada, you have to stop here in Southern New Mexico, lol.

Chy is only 50 or so miles from me in El Paso, and we can show you some neat stuff here in our area of the Southwest!!!!

So get your "beauty sleep" and then get to finalizing those plans!!!!

Love nd hugs,

Where are you coming into Minnie? New York, Chicago, Boston? Yikes .... depending on where you land I can meet up with you too.

You're welcome to stay here, but you'd have to share your bed with several big black dogs LOL! They are warm though ......

I think Jazz' house sounds perfect .... Virginia or W. Virginia? Not too far away for a SR get together ..... yippee, sounds like fun.

Best place to see the desert is from StovePipe Wells in Death Valley National Park. Quaint little motel, no telephones or cell phone service, awesome sand dunes and most beautiful sunsets in the whole world. Best season is winter, when the temperature tops in the 80's. Don't even think of it during summer when it's over 120.
