Do you know what I figured out this morning?

I was doing the next right thing and going for a walk... one mile.... and suddenly it hit me... life is like.. Where's Waldo.

Remember those books? searching and searching for Waldo.. and finally you found him and felt so brilliant. Well.. life is a lot like that. We have to search and search for the blessings. No matter how simple they are to find,, or how difficult, once we figure out what the blessing was... suddenly we feel brilliant.

Here is my Waldo for today....

Today I figured out I am glad that I was involved with an alcoholic. If I hadnt experienced what I did, I would not have been forced to grow up, and not have been forced to set personal boundaries. I would have missed out on recognizing the symptoms of an alcoholic home in my students, and I would have had no passion for my thesis paper like I do now.

I am often thankful that my life has taken me on a path where my blessings are never taken for granted.
