ABF worked on his car this afternoon, I haven't seen him since. I figured he fixed whatever it was and took off to drink.

The night security patrol for our building was just at my door.

"You have to come get your man. He's in his car and he can't stay there."

"You should tell him that."

"He's uh...drunk I think. He's not listening to me."

"What has that got to do with me?"

"You have to come get him, he can't stay there."

"Uh, no, I don't."

"But ma'am, if you don't I'll have to call the police."

"Okay."

"Maybe you don't understand, I'm required to call the police."

"Okay."

"Okay, you'll come get him?"

"No, okay I understand you have a job to do."

Guard is now looking angry and frustrated. "Why don't you just come get him?"

"He's not a child, he's free to be wherever he wants to be. If it's unlawful it's his problem."

Louder now-"Ma'am, just COME GET HIM."

"No."

I'll call the police."

"Okay. Thank you." And I shut the door.

Am I wrong?
