Songs you've known, but just "heard" for the first time
If you are like me, and I suppose this can go with film as well, you find that whether there are movies or songs you have heard a million times before, your ears seem to perk up when it sounds all to familiar in the words you may catch one or two of.
Today I was listening to Pandora as I usually do while I work, and Band of Horses "The Funeral" came on. Have always liked this song, but never really listened to it. Immediately it made me think of the A in my life. The song has a sad tune to it, but some of the lyrics I could make out seemed to strangely resonate though I could not be sure it was about addiction - just seemed like it was a story I could relate to. Anyway, I decided to pull up the song on youtube because I liked it so much and wanted to hear it again and then, well.....go take a watch.
