no more excuses
so many of you know that i started a no contact about 3 weeks ago. Even though I can block him on my phone, it still shows up when he tries to call, it automatically would delete it, but it would show me. Plus, his friends were still contacting me telling me how he was doing. I did something yesterday that was a HUGE step. I changed my number. I have had the same number well over 10 years. I was making all kinds of excuses why not to do it. But the bottom line... If I wanted a clean break, I had to do it. SO, now, I have a new #, deleted my facebook, and changed my email. He can not get a hold of me in any way.
Sometimes you just have to do something, no matter what excuses you tell yourself, no matter how hard it is going to be. you have to change if you want a change.

thanks guys. It is peaceful. I could not have done it without this board helping me.. all your posts made the difference. I knew I had to do something or I would fall into a pattern I might not be able to get out of so easily.
