No, he doesn't help with the kids much at all. Never has. He has always worked 2 jobs so the time he's home is spent sleeping.

I was kind of in his condition 7 years ago. My wife made an appointment with a Christian counselor and told me that I would be there with her. I was ready and needed a push from a loving wife.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. B is visiting liquor stores it seems every other day. He never uses the same one two days in a row. He alternates. He did this last time, it makes no sense to me why he does this. None of what he's doing makes sense right now though. I'm still unsure as to whether I should let him know that I know or not. Either way, I have a house full of family for the holiday so anything I do will be after everyone is gone this weekend. Our oldest son and I will be attending our first Al-anon meeting next Wednesday at 5pm. Thank you all for the help and advice given so far.

I had two or three liquor stores I would rotate to when I was drinking. God forbid someone in the liquor store think I had some kind of DRINKING problem.
