I went to an Al-Anon meeting tonight... first one in a long time. Too long...

A woman said something very simple that I hope I never forget:

"Alcoholics don't have relationships. They take hostages."

Sad but true.

My AP has absolutely no friends outside of the ones I have provided. not one.
And our relationship ...ppppffftt!
