| Happy Birthday to Me!
Well, today is my birthday and the present I am receiving is my husband coming home from detox. I'm not sure that I am ready even if he is. I have discovered the financial mess that he created that probably triggered his relapse. It scares me that after 3 days he is expected to come home and handle the mess he created when that is probably why he started drinking. They use and then we end up having to deal with the mess! I am sooooo pissed at him right now. The birthday present I am giving myself is a noon Alanon meeting. It helps to know that others are in similar situations but who do you ask for help and suggestions? That doesn't seem like the right forum for that. Maybe this is the right place. Somebody, please give me some help to get through this next phase before I have to go pick him up. Jo |

Happy Birthday Jojo!!!! Just enjoy your day and turn the rest over to God. It's all one day at a time and today is your special day, so do somthing really nice for yourself.

Happy Birthday, Jojo! Try to let go of your worries today and do something special for yourself. I read a book by Mary Kay Mueller called "Taking Care of ME" which states that we have control on only 2% of what we spend our time worrying about. We really don't have control over the other 98%. Take care of yourself! |

Happy Birthday to you jojo!!! Sorry that I am a day late. I sure hope that all went well for you yesterday! Going to a meeting was a wise decision and will keep you focused and strong.
