Al-Anon Meeting types? I am thinking about going to an al-anon meeting tonight. I checked the schedule, and there is one very near my apartment which would work really well. The meeting name is "Legacies Study Group AFG". I was wondering what that means so I might have some idea of what to expect. Does anyone know?

The 3 legacies are the steps, traditions and concepts.

And I believe that AFG means Alanon Family Group (someone correct me if I'm wrong though). Some groups are family groups. Some groups are adult only groups. I've only been to adult only groups but I think I may try a family group sometime.
