replying to a quote - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I can NOT figure out how to quote a part of someones post to reply to. You know....how to get part of their words in the blue box..... It can't be that tough....yet I've been here for over a year and I still can't do it.

One way is to highlight the text you want to quote and paste it between two "quote" tags:

quote tags:

PHP Code:

  [quote][/quote]

quote tags with text:

PHP Code:

I'm using "php" just to show an example of how to do it. No need for you the use the "php" tags.

Dunno about you but I could never get the 'multiquote' reply thing to work, so I just use the cut and paste method with the beginning and end quote tags, as Zencat suggested. It's a little awkward but works fine.
