Just wondering if I type some text and then exit to grab an image link,my text is gone when I return?

To post this image I had to copy an image link first,then post it.
what if I wanted to post a 2nd image?

Do I have to use image shack?
Currently I use Photo-Bucket.

Any input would be helpful.:wtf2
