Hi... would someone be able to tell me if and when a chat meeting is on today and be able to work out the time my end for me please? I am in Scotland... I could do with a meeting but cant get out tonight... it's 9.23ish pm here. I am gonna feel real silly if i am getting the chat meetings here mixed up and there not like AA meetings. Sorry in advance for any hassel and being thick on stuff Thankyou Be well louis |

Sorry... me again... I still havent a scooby what i am doing with the chat meetings... I read a post in one of the forums and posted a reply that said it was 1.15am... so counted back to 9pm... which meant that the chat is on at 6am in Britian... Am i even close??????  I tried using the time zone clock but as i dont know where the meeting zones are held... i didn't know what to look for... the clock said United states etc... but they differet times depending on where you are.... I am really sorry about this.... i can just about post a reply and get smilies... computers and THINKING are not one of my strong points... I would like to be able to hit one of the meetings here... that way if i am at work... i cant use it as i an excuse not to attend a meeting. Thanks and sorry again Be well louis |

hello,im Charmian and im an alcoholic.i too am in scotland louis! the meetings are on at 1am our time,,i do try to stay up but sometimes its a little late! i hope to see you soon in chat.some of the meetings are AA based and some are not however im not sure which nights are which! if you just pop into chat at any time and someone will be able to help you .they are a nice bunch in there and you will get any advice or just a good laugh anytime.so you are AA then? me too.im going to the inverness convention next week and im really looking forward to that! it will be my first one.hope to speak to you soon.take care.odaat.  |

 | Louis, you can adjust the times displayed in the forums to your own timezone. I did a lot of calculating until I managed to discover this feature Click on "User CP" on the menu bar (at the top of this page), click on "Edit Options" on the drop down menu, then scroll down the page to "Date and time options". You can select your timezone there (GMT until the end of March?). Also, as Charmian said, you can drop by the chatroom at any time you like

And don't forget after saturday the time difference changes by an hour  Just thought i'd point out another complication (grin) yeah stop in chat and we will help you figure it out or pm charmian and ask her to tell you all
