Making Friends...?and abbreviations.

Hello everyone,

I am new here and not especially computer wise.
Ok, you can ask someone if you can add them onto your friend list, if they accept, how can you go about adding them to your friend list please?
Which are the buttons you have to push?
Also I'm having a bit of troble with abbrreviations ex: DOC, IMHO etc. Is there a list for these abbreviations? I live in France and speak French all of the time apart from on here so it is not so evident for me.

Thank you very much to anyone that can help me out with this.

Love, Ingrid.

WHen they accept your request that automatically puts them on your 'friend list'. As to the others, maybe one of the mods can post a link to a page or site that lists and translates the abbreviations. I know more now than I did at first, you'll learn.

Welcome to the family!

DOC is Drug Of Choice and IMHO is in my humble opinion.
