Post count and joining a group

I can't figure out how to join a group because I don't have a 15 min post count but I don't know what that means or how to do it

You have to post a certain amount of times before you can do certain things on the site.
I am not sure what the amount of posts that is. I am sure that may be what the 15 means. I think thats what it means anyway.
Morning Glory will be along at some point and tell you for sure.

Just find a thread and post something relevant, wherever you may offer your experience...eventually you'll get to the required # of posts and be able to join.

You have three posts now. See the number under your name? It says:

Posts: 3

When you post again, the number will change to 4, and on and on.
When you reach 15, you can then join a group that you'd like to.

Having a minimum post count helps us to keep the spammers out. So please feel free to post relevant things on threads where you can share your experience, strength and hope. You'll have your 15 posts in no time.

I guess we all have to go through this process, but I stayed away for several months because of the frustration I was feeling trying to post and not being allowed to.
When I received a Birthday Greeting this month, I thought I would try again. So far, each time I've tried to post, I've been refused. If this one doesn't 'fly' then I won't be back.

Let me just say that the Info here is Second to None, but it's difficult to make friends when you can't participate.

All you have to do is post to a thread that moves you. As History Teach said... you'll have your 15 posts and many more. Look at my count LOL!

I thought the 15 count was needed to send PM's. Has it changed?

Well, happy belated birthday, countrycasual!
Now, where you trying to post on the forums and having problems?
Or where you trying to post on blogs or some of the special interest groups.
You shouldn't have had any problems at all with the forums.
As I stated, it's simply a way to keep the spammers and especially the spam bots out.
