| recovering | Cannot undo a friendship request
I'd requested friendship with someone who was not enthused or predisposed to accept the friendship. Was trying to undo that box in the list of friends but when I unchecked the upper left box and clicked on 'save changes' it says I do not have permission and should refresh the page and log in. I AM logged in. I just want to get that box out of there as it's just a reminder that someone does not want to accept my friendship. The request was never accepted but there's still a green check in the box in upper left corner. How do I make this request go away? thanx

Try going into your user cp and click on the contacts and friends link on the left. Uncheck the person and see if that fixes it. Or is that what you already did?

That's exactly what I did. I even logged out and back in but still no go. It's not crucial this be done tho, I can just leave it as is. Maybe the person will accept the offer of friendship someday.

I'm sorry it's not working. I looked and there is nothing I can do from my end. The owners said they would be upgrading soon. That should solve a lot of problems we are having.
