quoting other people

Don't know how to pluck out a sentence from other peoples post and feature it in my reply.

Hope this question makes sense.

If you hit the "quote" button, under the posters post, you should get a text box. Keep what you want between the start and end quote brackets [ ] and it will appear in the text. Try practicing here if you'd like, using my reply
Hope that helps.

Do you hit the 'quote' button before you hit the 'new reply' button? I've been wondering how to use this feature too.

I just put my mouse over the text I want to quote and make it turn blue and right click and a box appears that says copy I click on copy and go to my reply box and right click and the feature paste appears and I click paste and the text appears then I high lite it again and click the quote icon at the top of the box then between the first bracket after the word [QUOTE] I put an = ie: [QUOTE=timzup] it sounds more complicated that it is but most of the time I do not want to quote someones whole post so I just copy and paste the text I want and wrap the quote tags around it.....

I suppose nobody understands my little cut and paste method...It really is easier than the other way especially if you do not want to quote the whole text.
