How to actually delete visitor messages - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I was trying to make more room by deleting the visitor messages but it only "soft deletes" them, the message stays and says that it was deleted. Is there any way to delete visitor messages so that they actually disappear into cyberspace? AFter deleting the page shows "soft delete - leave message" or something like that. I tried to uncheck that box in front of that message but could not do it. How do I completely delete the visitor messages without the little message space saying that message was deleted??

I go in and mass delete them and sometimes I forget.
