Disappearing posts - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Just noticed that any posts after roughly 1:30 today in both Friends and Family forums are disappearing once they have left new posts.....MG?

It's hard to tell without seeing it myself.

Try starting over by clicking on this link. It will cause all posts to be marked read.

If you see a thread disappear post the link here without bumping the thread back up so I can look at the dates and times of the posts.

actually, MG, I clicked on that link and still when I went into Friends and and Family of Substance Abuse ...it did not show any posts after 1:45pm today...and yet there have been many as you can imagine...same thing in F&Fof Alcoholics

I think I see it. The Here we go again thread seems to be missing now.

I'll go push some buttons and see if that will fix the problem.

yes, I see Sugerlily's post but not the ones that came after it...In the newcomers forum for example, dislipsoms thread says there have been 13 posts but if you go in there, there are only 11...hmmmmm

I am seeing all posts. 13 replies plus the origninal post for a total of 14.

Only thing I can think of that could be happening...
The server times out and gives you what it has available at the moment.
Like it is trying to send you two packages but your IP isn't fast enough to take both in the time allowed.

I would try a refresh on the brouser and clear your cache to see if that helps clear things up.
I know that when my server slows down...pictures won't post for me till I refresh the page. You could be having the same issue with whole posts.

actually Best, you could be on to something...I have been logging out and when I come back in , I find that I am still logged in , it might be me...let me go check something....

I logged out , logged back in, checked the remember box and still don't see any posts after Rose's Its a Done deal at 1:45 in Friends & Family of Substance abuse..not to mention a bunch of Geesponcho 's posts missing among others..etc...I don't know..Its a mystery....

Did you try shutting down your computer and restarting it?
If it still won't work delete your temporary internet files and cookies.

Best , you were right on the money, went and cleared out all my history.. now have all missing posts...now if i can just get this softwear to keep me logged out once I do, I'll be good..thanks to both for your help....
