We have many thread subscriptions and private message notifications bounce back to our email account. If you have subscriptions and you aren't receiving notification they are being bounced back to us.

Private Message notifications that are being bounced back to us contain the private message. If you would like your messages to remain private you need to go into your user cp-edit options, and uncheck where it says "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages". Then click save on the bottom.

I saw one private message and notified the member so don't panic.

If you aren't receiving notification on thread subscriptions please check "Do not subscribe" where it says "Automatic Thread Subscription Mode"

I have been trying to delete subscriptions by hand from the bounced email because we are being over-run with them in the email account.

Changing your email address to a hotmail or yahoo address may help you get your notifications.
