I lost another post to a thread, again it was heart felt and slow to type because of the emotion... My rant FIX IT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I used to post a lot, I'd keep a copy of notepad or something open, and copy and paste the message every now and then to it.

Yes i have tried the suggested remidies and they dont work, so do not go there. I debated all day on responding to a certain post and decieded to , only to have it tell me after i hit submit to sign up or register.. For the love of pete fix that..

Have you tried checking the box that says keep me logged in when you log in? I have no problem with posts but I also make sure that box is checked when I log in.

when you first sign in it is right there by where you put your user name and password in. It says "keep me logged in" and has a box next to it that you click on and it puts a check mark in it.

You can also Copy and Paste to a Word Document any post you write, before you post it, so if something goes wrong, you have a copy of it.

This happens to me sometimes. So I sign in again and don't press anymore buttons, just wait, the post comes back onto the screen just as I left it. Its not lost.

i highlight/ right click and "copy" every few minutes just to be sure

when I 'go long' on a post - IF I remember ... that's a big IF ...

I'll 'select all' then 'copy' before I try to post it.

that way when the inevitable time out happens... it's saved in my little mouse.
