when I click on to view a post all I can "see" is everyones comments concerning the posts!!! I can't see the post everyone is responding to!!!!!!!!!!

Are you maybe seeing page two of the thread?
When replies reach 25, they start on the next page. At the bottom you will see 1,2,3,...

A click on the page number will bring you to that page.
